We’ve been busy planning some exciting new events for 2016, kicking off with a fabulous exhibition for International Women’s Day on Tuesday March 8th, to be curated by artist and long time friend, Lubaina Himid, Professor of Contemporary Art at UClan. We will be open all day for the exhibition, with Oxheys residents also opening their studios all day, followed by a party and private view from 6-8pm. All welcome!
During the day, Lubaina will give a talk and lead a tour which will link Oxheys with Making Histories Visible and the Birley studios, who are both also holding special exhibitions, with other activities also being planned to link the venues with the Harris Museum.
