Saturday June 3rd was a fantastic day on the Flag Market and inside the Harris Museum – hundreds of people came to see us and to join in the Making A Mark activities – a huge thank you to everyone that came, who brought their children and parents along and took part.
Huge thanks also to all of the artists that worked so hard to provide the activities – Caroline Finnigan, Robin Fanner, Evelyn Rose, Gordon Ashworth and Denise Swanson from Oxheys as well as our collaborators Tim Saunders (Tim’s Perspective Art), Bernie Velvick (ArtFull) and Chris Davis (Our Alison). Thanks also to the Harris Museum & Gallery, especially Stephen Walker and Lindsey mcCormick and also Preston City Council, especially Tim Joel and the tireless Rita Whitlock. We really appreciate your support.
Thanks also to everyone that donated old clothes – they were all donated back to charity at the end of the day.
