Oxheys are happy to be joining in several events taking place as part of Preston Guild week. We are open on 31st August for Light Night until 8pm and alongside our own ‘Where there’s a Mill…’ exhibition we are hosting an exhibition of work from D.verCity, from disabled and deaf artists, in the loading bay space. As well as hosting another exhibition as part of Maps Festival with work from local artists Andrew Brooks and Naomi Kendrick in the project space, two films will be shown by artists in the meeting room upstairs.
Light Night
Oxheys Mill Studios is pleased to take part in this event organised by Preston Tringe and Preston Arts Association, running in various arts venues throughout city on August 31st. Featuring the ‘Where there’s a Mill…’ exhibition alongside an exhibition of work from disabled artists in D.verCity and another from various artists involved in Maps festival, this will be an exciting evening August 31st – open until 8pm .

Enjoy an exhibition of work from artists taking part in this disability, deaf and outsider arts festival at various venues in Preston including the loading bay at Oxheys Mill Studios, opening 31st Aug til 8pm for Lite Nite then on Saturday 8th Sept until 8pm during Maps Festival. Also open 1st Sept & 7th Sept 11-4pm
MAPS Festival
Oxheys plays host to another multi venue arts festival taking place in Preston, this time organised by Fallen Arts, this is an exhibition of work by local visual, film and performance artists which is being shown alongside the other exhibitions and events taking place during Guild Week at Oxheys. Opening for Light Night on 31st August, the exhibition is on for the week with the main event day on Saturday 8th September 11-7pm .
Drop in to see one or more of these events on your way around the other venues in the city, or finish up at Oxheys before joining the Torchlight Procession – all welcome and admission free.
LAN Open Exhibition submissions
