Welcome to Oxheys Mill Studios.
We are four artists based in Preston, in the process of preparing part of an old disused cotton mill to create artist studios, a Project Space and facilities to hold talks and workshops. Our priority at the moment is the Project Space which we would like to open very soon
Our plans for the ground floor Project Space are simply to try and create a space in Preston where we can host exhibitions by local [and hopefully regional] artists, residencies, projects, workshops and a series of artists talks. An exciting hub of contemporary artist activity. The space will help to get Oxheys Mill Studios on the map and encourage artists to work with us or join us in this project.
We plan to open in early June when the space is fit for use. Work will continue in the studios and meeting room for a while after that – it is a big building and there is a lot to do but this is an exciting project and we hope you will join our mailing list or follow us on Twitter to keep informed of progress and future events as we plan them.
