We spent a delightful weekend in residence in the beautiful cafe in the Harris Museum & Gallery, along with Chelytherium playing his amazing soundscapes and a pop-up display of residents’ artwork.
At Oxheys Mill, residents were hosting open studios alongside the last days of the Lancashire Artists Network 2015 Open exhibition. It was a lovely way to celebrate our 4th birthday, all part of the inaugural Lancashire Encounter.
Over the busy weekend we met lots of old friends and made a lot of new ones who we’ll hopefully see at Oxheys in the future. A big thank you to everyone to came to see us and especially to the Harris for allowing us to take over their cafe!
The soundscapes really went down well, with lots of interest in Chelytherium. If you missed hearing him play at the Harris over the weekend, you can catch him this Thursday evening from 6-8pm when he plays live at the private view of our next exhibition ‘Walking My Dog’. One not to be missed.
