Having been quite selective, we have now installed what we think is a fabulous show with something for everyone. The optional theme of ‘Change‘ has been widely interpreted, as we hoped, with some very really interesting work.
We are also pleased to welcome Gordon Ashworth as our newest resident. As has happened before, he came to submit work and fell in love with the place. Some of his work is featured in the exhibition so do come and take a look.
The mini exhibition of work from fine art photographer Alan Pickering, which was to run alongside the Open, in our upstairs meeting room, has been postponed. When Alan delivered his work, we were so taken with it we offered him the opportunity for a solo show later in the year. Dates are being finalised so watch this space.
In other news, we are delighted to announce we will be featuring the work of Hasselblad Master photographer Bryn Griffiths with his award-winning ‘Chenobyl‘ project in another solo exhibition later in the year. Bryn, who is also a Fellow of the British Institute of Professional Photography, will give a talk about his work and his project during his exhibition. Watch this space for further details,
Hope to see you at the Preview evening on Thursday – please share and tell your friends.
